7^th July , 2010- I met Sir SP Balasubramaniam last year during one of the shows in Andhra…Wat an artist ! I really miss that melodious voice these days…SP, Kishorda, Rafisaab, Lataji…I have grown up listening to them…They are my Gurus…-

I got I got my first real six-string – bought it at the five and dime
Played it til my fingers bled – it was the summer of ‘69
Me and some guys from school – had a band and we tried real hard
Jimmy quit and Jody got married – I shoulda known we’d never get far
Oh when I look back now – That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice – ya – I’d always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life ! I miss my school days a lot – 9^th July

3^rd July – Argentina  playing…3 childhood friends…n Mom-made singhadas…Aur kya chahiye life mein?

1^st July -Hey all, It’s a National Doctor’s Day today…I was just reading an article about the eminent Dr. B.C. Roy …& ex chief minister of West Bengal…Happy Doctor’s Day !

1^st July – I will remain indebted to Kolkata for the immense love and appreciation they have showered me with…At times its overwhelming…I am thankful to Kolkata event managers for making me an important fixture in the up-market here. Whenever I visit my home, it takes me down the memory lane…This feeling of being the son of the soil is so great !

25^th June – My childhood was filled with ‘Heal the World’ & Billy Jeans…MJs happen only once…There can’t be anyone even nearer to him…
